The Technical Sales and Application Engineer is the technical expert on sealing device product lines. You will help secure solution wins through consultative selling, and product related technical services and support. You will:

· Provide pre-sales support by consulting with customers, understanding their problems and devising optimal support solutions and business proposals. This includes, but is not limited to, system performance benchmarks, product failure analysis, product recommendations, custom designs, and complex engineering analysis.
· Create and present proposals for support solutions to audiences at different levels/roles within targeted customer industries.
· Manage post-sale customer support including, but not limited to, troubleshooting, in-field support, product failure analysis, and documentation.
· Quickly resolve customer issues, build positive customer relationships, and promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
· Develop and deliver standard and custom product training for sales and support staff, channel partners and customers.
· Collaborate with corporate engineering, product marketing, and operations to develop go-to-market plans and future product definition
· Complete special projects and duties as assigned by manager

· B.S. / M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
· 2+ years of engineering experience in an industrial environment. Strong technical, analytical, and problem solving skills with attention to detail. Computer skills must include MS Office, technical analysis tools, database management, and CAD.
· Experience with industrial sealing, mechanical seal, and/or rotating equipment is ideal. Experience in process industries such as power, pulp & paper, chemical, refining or others is a plus.
· High customer service ethic, including interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Customer-facing skills with demand creation and solution selling capabilities, and the ability to relate to engineers across various applications and disciplines
· Frequent domestic and occasional international travel, at times on short notice
· Bi-lingual Chinese/English
