Position: Supply Manager
Reports to: Director of Asia Operations
Location: Shenzhen (Travel to Vendor factory is required)
Duties:
1. Oversee the process of locating and securing materials needed in order to keep the business functioning.
2. Understand the flow of supply and demand within the company. Setting guidelines for ordering and distribution of materials in conjunction with head quarter and adjust the ordering and distribution process accordingly.
3. Review the rate of usage of acquired materials during a given period. Provide ordering suggestion to the buyer accordingly, so they arrive in time to maintain steady production and sales without the need to keep high inventories that are not likely to be needed for extended periods of time.
4. Handle exceptional situation on supply outside the norm. For example, urgent sizable customer order, expedited delivery.
5. Monitor the order and delivery schedule and ensure that production and sales is not hampered due to a lack of available raw materials or finished goods.
6. Generate matrix and reports to measure the supply fulfillment and on time delivery of vendors.
Qualification requirements:
1. 4 year university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related disciplines.
2. Minimum 7 years Supply Management experience.
3. Familiar with SAP, buying strategy, planning and scheduling.
4. Strong organizational and communication skills; must be a team player capable of working with our vendors and head quarter.
5. Written and oral fluency in English and Mandarin, communicate with USA office.
