职位描述
Our client is a leading European manufacturing company in the power control, power transmission and renewable energy applications industry, providing specific solutions for industrial applications, automation and mobile equipments. They manufacture a complete range of gear motors, drive systems and planetary gearboxes for a wide variety of applications, and offer tailored solutions, whose strength lies in the high technology content of each product and the careful integration of different technologies.
Today the company has 6 production plants and branches in 14 countries, with a global workforce of more than 3100 and a turnover in excess of Euro 610 million. The company generates approximately EUR 330 million in 2010. They started to sell in China from 2004. Until now it has around 150 employees, divided into sales (30 people), logistic and assembly (small team). Furthermore to its Shanghai presence, BDS has representative offices in 5 different cities within China (BJ, SZ, CS, SY, and GZ).
In order to sustain their leading position in the global power transmission market, and meet the challenges of today's complex and continually changing environment, our client is looking for a Process Manager / Continuous Improvement Manager, who takes charge of the overall plant management in Shanghai.
A) POSITION
Process Manager/Continuous Improvement Manager
B) Job Summary
· Take charge of overall plant management
C) Job Responsibilities
· Being responsible of the plant layout and the assy benches layout
· Diagramming the flow of the process
· Responsible of the time cycle of all the assembly lines and the products
· Ensure that existing processes maintain a high level of performance
· Facilitate and streamline the transfer of new products into production, develop BOM's, routing, fixturing/tooling and cost estimates of the products and process
· Leads and executes breakthrough and continuous improvement projects
· Develops and applies necessary technicals skills to deliver improvement results
· 5S supervisor
· Improvement of the lean manufacturing concepts
· Engages line/process/department personnel in all phase of improvement work
· Develops strong technical network with plant resources
· Maintains appropriate documentation including project charter, progress updates and final reports
· Working closely with supervisors, operators, maintenance and support functions to improve manufacturing performance
· Analyze information and make recommendations based on verified testing and data
· Monitor the maintenance and safety of the plant
D) WORK RELATION & PLACE
· Report to: Operational Director (Italian)
· Location of work base: Shanghai
E) POSITION REQUIREMENT
· Must have 5+ years experience in manufacturing experience with plant transformation
· Intensive knowledge of the products (e,g, gearboxes)
· Intensive knowledge of the entire production
· Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical background
· Technical qualification
· Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken)
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
· Good command of computer skills
