Purpose:
Position will contribute regulatory trade compliance but mainly focus on the import and export compliance in Asia region to support company business.

Activities:

-Close cooperation with other fucntions like procurement including commercial logistics fuction,planning, delivery, production and finance to secure the inbound / ourbound shipping customs clearance in timely manner
-Working with shipping agent / customs broker to secure effective service provided to the company and perfom the KPI management
- Implement/coordinate programatic control oversights to support regulatory compliance function interface with Business Lines.
- Perform Jr. level compliance recommendations like classification, valuation, special programs, and record keeping.
- Proactive solution offering toward improved regulatory communication.
- Interpret and translate regulatory changes using Trade Technology and external trade sources to update the impact to business
- Take part in the global improvement activities related to Audit, Training, Trade Optimization, and Security.

Communication:
- Serve as Business Line primary point interaction
- Provide cross function communication with Regional Trade Compliance team members
- Participate with respective Global Lead

Reporting:
- Regional participation metrics results
- Other Government Agency activities
- Case management processing

Requirements:
Four year degree in Business, International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in Import / Export
Knowledge of business operations related to supply chain
Knowledge of regulations especially for Customs and CIQ
Excellent communication skills
Ability to author compliance documentation
Fluent in English

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of SAP systems (sales and distribution functions)
Knowledge of International Trade Systesm (i.e. GTS, GDM, etc.)
Knowledge of Trade Compliance system
International Trade and/or Supply Chain experience
Systems and process development
Chemical manufacturing background a plus
Fluency in additional languages a plus
