UK company with China office represents UK largest Homeware retailer seeks CSR officer to work on either full or part time basis

Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in either 3rd party auditing and or factory environment in either hard goods furniture textiles
Reporting to Group Compliance and Quality Manager for all geographical regions who intern reports to the MD

Job role
Read and report on 3rd party audits
Verification of building assessment certificates
Verification of fire licences
Translation of special documents as required
Updates on the law of the land and new rules and regulations
Pre audit work and internal CAPAR reporting to includes wages, social security age verification fire health and safety and other administrative situations
Work with factories to continual improve their Compliance position
Regularly weekly summaries provided to the MD

Attributes
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must have done SMETA audits and can demonstrate this
Able to respond within 24 hours on e mail to queries and communication
Manage different priorities
Contribute to new business development

It was founded in March 2013

The activities of the company started in Bangladesh, China was added in August 2013 with Pakistan entering the portfolio during January 2014 and latterly we have been awardee Indonesia January 2016

Working on a completely transparent basis and being rewarded ‘only’ as a percentage of the FOB price so we become a part of customers cost centre, we are able to deliver services in country using dedicated and skilled personnel.

Based on the principles of high moral standing, Golden Tiger performs its activities with integrity to perform its duties in country to ensure the customer operates within a safe, structured and coordinated environment by adding value to the customers supply chain in delivering a portfolio of products to customers’ expectations with the final negotiation of the FOB price being agreed by the customer

Golden Tigers main areas of activities are

?    Quality Assurance –supporting the vendors in supply chain best practise to reduce risk by operating appropriate systems and procedures
?    Quality Control – performing inline, pre shipment reporting (PSI) to defined and transparent AQL criteria and standards
?    Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) – working to the ETI based code, working with and supporting vendors to ensure they maintain and manage a mandatory degree of due diligence and acquire a SMETA audit, which supports continuous improvement as a condition of supply
?    Vendor management – support new and existing factories in country with existing and new procedures
?    Sourcing - new factories and product to enhance the Dunelm product portfolio
?    Merchandising – coordinating visibility to Dunelm from the vendor base

The principles above are exercised by Golden Tiger, with the minimum of cost, to enable the customer to maintain an efficient and pro-active supply chain in country in a transparent and coordinated manner
