JOB DESCRIPTION

WOGER Trading has an opportunity for an experienced Lead Graphic Designer with experience in e-commerce. You will be responsible for a design team in China and will respond directly to Communication and Design Manager in Netherlands. All communication between China and Netherlands will be conducted in English, so full professional proficiency is a must.

RESPONSIBLITIES

As aLead Graphic Designer you will:

· Communicate directly with Communication and Design department in the Netherlands

· Manage workload and deadlines for a team of 2D and 3D graphic designers and desktop publishers

· Respond to requests and follow instructions from Design department in Netherlands, distribute and explain the projects to the team and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner

· Guide the team to ensure all designs are customer focused, user-friendly and following latest European e-commerce trends

· Together with your team and following the briefing from design team in Netherlands you will:

Produce web design elements: campaign bannering, logos, teasers

Retouch and prepare product photos and thumbnails

Produce 3D interior images to present products

Prepare files and make instructions for web developers

Fill in design templates with translations and other relevant information

EXPERTISE

· Ability to effectively execute design briefings

· Ability to manage deadlines and distribute workload to a team

· Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and online behaviours in Europe

· Excellent knowledge and interest in web standards and trends, with focus on European market

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Excellent working knowledge of Adobe CS- in particular Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash

· Excellent understanding of different file formats, colour codes, standard web sizes

· Fluency and working proficiency in English is a must

· Knowledge of 3D software is beneficial
