Amazon Global Selling: The Marketplace or “Selling on Amazon” business exists in 10 countries and exceeds 40% of total Amazon unit sales and growing. Each year, tens of thousands of businesses join the marketplace adding millions of new products. Our vision is to offer customers Earth’s largest selection.
The China global selling organization aims to deliver on this vision by identifying massive China Sellers, bring quality products selections to Amazon’s global marketplaces. In this context, China Global Selling team has building team in main regions in China from north to east and south, and now is seeking an experienced sales leader, to identify the potential business opportunities in east of China, high quality east China sellers, business to sell globally on Amazon marketplaces. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales manager with strong capacity on team development, regional business development and experience in manufacturers and export industries. S/he will have a track record of success at driving results, partnering cross functionally, roll up sleeves to get making progress drive regional business success. The candidate in this role will also be strong on driving process and implement business strategy. S/he will have a strong track record of executing key initiatives, plans, and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Deep dive into regional business opportunities, develop key initiatives to drive China sellers/business sell globally on Amazon marketplaces. Owns east China prospect seller leads goals and seller launch Goal.
- Partner with leadership team to develop regional seller recruitment strategy, owns initiatives implementation and performance from new initiatives.
- Grow and optimize existing seller recruitment channels, meanwhile, develop new channels which expedite global selling growth in new high potential areas.
- Identify strategic partner prospects, prepare and participate in negotiations, analyze suggested terms, lead team on implementation end to end.
- Collect market insights, hear from sellers, provide information to contribute product and seller experience enhancement.
- Own customer experience, as a gate keeper to source and launch high quality selection to Amazon worldwide.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience in sales, business development, or partner management in ecommerce or technology sectors.
- Strong on BD skills, negotiation skill. Experience in channel development and management, deal with complex deals.
- Strong experience on team development, include hire, develop, build high performing sales team.
- Team player with strong persuasion skills able to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders. Track record of successful on initiating, proposing cross functional projects and drive to implement.
- Can adopt fast paced, dynamic, constantly evolving environment. Adjust plan and focus quickly.
- Excellent analytical and planning abilities, design and oversee programmatic business development efforts.
- Excellent triage ability with the ability to prioritize projects and work
- Data driven and “quantitative” mentality with an ability to back up ideas with facts or examples
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to speak effectively to any audience. Fluency in Chinese and English is required
