Job Title: Business development manager for pharmaceutical industry
Location: China-Shanghai

Key responsibilities:
Working closely with other BD members, the Sales, Marketing and other functional teams to evaluate business development opportunities
Coordinating in-licensing, out-licensing, strategic alliance, co-promotion and other business development activities with internal stakeholders and potential partners
Leading all aspects of deal making process on a timely and efficient manner including sourcing, negotiation, due diligence, deal structuring, valuation, closure and alliance management
Working on the new product strategy and launching plan.
Analyzing new business development opportunities for the company
Working with China and HQ colleagues to develop robust business cases that drive go/no-go decisions by Leadership
Qualifications required
Very strong analytical/quantitative background
Good understanding of business development process including tools employed to conduct opportunity analysis, due diligence, financial statement analysis, financial valuation and financial modeling/ROI analysis
Successful track record in pharmaceutical marketing and/or business development a plus (not a must)
Mature, independent, self-starter, self-learning, problem-solving and team-working
Strong coordination/communication skills with demonstrated ability to work and lead cross functional teams
Excellent written and oral communication with proficiency in Word and Powerpoint
MBA or PhD candidate with medical background preferred with fluency in English a must
