The Seller Support Trainer will be based in Beijing, and will be responsible for eLearning translations and customizations, training delivery and coordination for all new hire, refresher, continuing education and launch trainings for our Seller Support Associates, responsible for the training results.
eLearning translations and customizations will incorporate all eLearning and blended learning curriculums. This will also include using surveys, quizzes, quality metrics and other available tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training and assess new Associate learning and skill development.
Design the training courses and Deliver training to new hires and already on-job seller support team Deliver high quality training and be responsible for the training results, contionuously improve training contents, training means and training performance.
Training coordination will include communicating with appropriate business owners: seller support team leaders; Global Learning & Performance Manager; other Seller Support Trainers; subject matter experts and Associates to ensure all trainings are conducted on-time and with sufficient resources and facilities.
Facilitating blended learning training classes for new hires, new skills (cross-training), feature launches, and refreshers as necessary in our sites. The person hired for this designer-trainer role must be able to manage the learning management system, test practice environment and report on testing results.
Overall, the Seller Support Designer-Trainer will be responsible for driving high quality training provided to the teams and play a significant role in the development of a successful, effective global technical support team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Expertise in developing, planning, implementing and assessing training.
- Demonstrated experience developing elearning courseware, job aids, online tutorials and/or other training materials, using captivate, flash, illustrate and Photoshop
- Excellent communication skills for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development, including superior skill in explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts and managers.
- Excellent coordination, classroom management and organization skills.
- Excellent oral/written skills in Chinese and English
- Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter.
- Excellent one-to-many and one-to-one communication skills in both classroom and tutorial settings.
- Knowledge of adult learning and training practices, especially in technical support contexts.
- At least 3-5 years experience in a training role.
- Bachelor’s degree or significant college course work, preferably in a communication, education or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree
