Job Description

1. Carrying out regular operationalexcellence roadmap reviews

2. Preparing the improvement plan for the location as well ascarrying out roadmap activities in agreement with those responsible

3. Investigating the production and production-affiliated areas withthe aim of illustrating improvement potentials in the workflow and setuporganization, as well as analyzing causes and deriving appropriate measures

4. Involvement in preparing suggestions for improvement and takingover the interface function to CIP; Initiating improvement processes based onthe procedure to be used (HelPS); Implementing suggestions for improvement aswell as necessary measures; forwarding the results to the functions responsible

5. Carrying out improvement projects with regard to workflows,logistics concepts, processes and work systems in the production areas

6. Involvement in the preparation and implementation of standards fortechnical or organizational processes and logistics workflows, taking theproduction system into account together with the functions responsible

7. Agreeing operational excellence and HelPS activities with theworking methods activities on site in the plant

8. Qualifying and pushing the Kaizen process within the company incooperation with the functions responsible

9. Providing support in the implementation of the respective tools,ensuring the universality and uniformity of the methods and tools introduced incooperation with the local manager

10. Grooming a network of experts at the location for the guidedimprovement processes as well as representing the plant in the internationaloperational excellence/ HelPS network; preparing and accompanying and/or carryingout HelPS workshops as well as monitoring and following up on theimplementation of plan of action measures

11. Supporting development teams in realizing new projects (products)in terms of production-related matters (design to manufacturing); supportingthe exchange of experience between production and development (lessons learned）

12. Carrying out internal success checks for measures initiated bycomparing business management data in cooperation with those responsible (sustainabilitychecks)

13. Taking over the function of contact for the subject of “leanproduction” as well as communicating the subject to executives and staff

14. Instructing, guiding and supporting the operational excellenceemployees at the location being supported

Job Requirement

1. Grad.In Industrial Engineering or related majors

2. Good communication skills

3. Good at written and verbal English

4. Knowledge in the area of automotiveindustry

5. Master Degree or above

6. Mobility to work in Shanghai & Nanjing& Jiaxing in future

Jiaxing Hella Light Co,Ltd is a new program Hella Group launched in Jiaxing Economic&Technological Development Zone, which mainly provides the headlights, taillights, frog lights and other kinds of automotive lights to the medium and high level automotive manufacturers like Shanghai Volkswagen and Shang GM. The company was founded in Jul 2012,with registration capital RMB200 million. And the new factory is under construction and the total area is 56 thousand square kilometers. It’s estimated to put into production in Aug 2013 and the annual output could be more than 2200million. Then it will be the biggest Hella factory in China.
