Quality Engineers

Key Responsibilities:

• Key company resource to qualify products via PPRP (Pilot Production Run Process). Candidate must evaluate production processes to ensure they are conforming to product requirements and known standards.
• Participate product develop and EB and comment DQTP, DFEMA.
• Must be able to perform root-cause-analysis and full implementation of corrective action for process and product related concerns.
• Responsible for supplier continual improvement activities to enhance overall deliverable quality via methods such as: 5S, six sigma, etc.
• Audit and assess new supplier, creating audit finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.
• Interface frequently with Engineering and Project Management teams to communicate key quality issues relating to product or process.
• Must work closely with Quality Inspectors to ensure that key quality nonconformities are addressed at the supplier level and improvement is achieved before next inspection.
• Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints.
• Creation and maintenance of CAR(corrective action report), PAR(preventative action report), PPRP(pilot production run process) forms submission
• Responsible for organizing and managing the overall communication of the quality reporting process for factory quality issue and pilot production process.
• Develop and issue Inspection Plan for supplier and QC
• Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Management of supplier performance and preparation of Quality Assurance reports.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quality Engineering or other related disciplines.
• 3+ years related work experience in Quality Engineering or Product Development in: plastic injection, metal stamping/drawing/electrical and electronic product.
• Knowledge of QS9000, ISO9000. It is beneficial if has knowledge of 5S, Six Sigma, and internal audit skills
• Must be self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal/communication skills;
• Must be fluent in English written communication, simple oral English communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Access/Powerpoint)
• Reside in or around Ningbo City is preferred.
