Position: Spareparts & Accessories Buyer
Purpose of the position: This position will have a primary role in identifying, coordinating, and launching new Sourced Products related to Far East sources. Primary focus will be supporting new Sourced product initiatives, working closely with both new and existing Suppliers, Marketing, Product Care, and Testing in requesting, evaluating, testing, developing, improving, and launching new Products into the Market. Additional activities will include supporting cross-functional new Product development initiatives, supporting supplier relations through improved workflow processes, resolving logistics issues, lead-time constraints, supplier selection evaluation, and product quote analysis, sourced project management, cost reductions and improving supplier productivity.
Main responsibilities of the position: 1. Orders call off and follow up for spare parts APAC and LAM
2. Price maintenance for NAM
3. Secure a reliable flow of spare part to different regions, being on stock in time for product launch.
4. Ensure timely, correct and complete deliveries of parts during the active production phase of an appliance / product. Ensure that last order of parts is managed when a product is being phased out (after seize of production) and that key component supply is secured in the following years.
5. Ensure full supplier compliance of spare supply in accordance with specification and instructions given by Electrolux.
6. Train and educate existing and new suppliers on our requirements and process (ensure that all deliveries will have the same paper work ? order confirmation, delivery note, bill of loading, invoice).
7. Cooperate and support spares planner on local level, negotiate lead time, batch quantity and packaging according our guidelines
8. Participate and have access to the TDS & process
9. Return handling and claims on wrong deliveries, missing parts, etc.
10. Corrective action management – non-compliant suppliers
11. Purchase price management vs finished goods pricing
12. Coordinate samples of C&A requests
Skills - Ability to communicate internally and externally
- Ability to negotiate
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Business sense
Requirements of the position: - 2 Years purchasing exp. with degree in Business / Engineering
- Excellent English and Mandarin are mandatory
- MS Office user, with advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication, interpersonal and business analysis skills are required
