The Digital Operations Center has created an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Application Specialist for Industry 4.0.

This position will be located in Shanghai, China.

Primary Responsibilities

• Promote
  and / or evaluate new emerging technology and/or existing mobile APP/connectivity
  technology throughout the solution lifecycle in a way that revolutionizes
  Dow’s long-term strategy and future.
• Coordinate
  APP/application technology development needs/requirements that support
  mobile technology solutions.
• Define
  testing requirements against determined technical & functional
  requirements.

• Manage and participate in the development of a connectivity strategy.

• Document and coordinate the execution of Proof of Concepts

• Ensure
  technology aligns to company IT architecture and security standards.
• Provide
  technical and process expertise to the team on issue identification,
  escalation, problem diagnostics and correction.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• A
  minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
• A
  minimum of 3 years of related experience is required.
• Previous
  experience with mobile solutions.
• Previous
  experience with IOT related deployments.
• Demonstrated
  delivery of solutions using user .

Preferred Qualifications:

• A
  degree discipline in Computer Science, or Engineering, is preferred.
• Experience
  with deploying and maintaining wireless networks.
• Strong
  Knowledge of network architecture
• Experience
  / understanding of LPWAN, Cellular (incl 5G), Wi-Fi, etc.
