Brief Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and execution of tactical marketing plans: 75%
? Understand and localize global brand and product line strategies.
? Join and contribute in the process of local media and communication plan crafting.
? Own execution and analysis of marketing programs including promotions and advertising.
? Act as liaison with creative/media agencies responsible for design, media, advertising, promotions, etc.
? Make key tactical decisions on quality, cost, and timing of executions under parameters set by line manager.
? Monitor and study consumer behaviour and generate consumer insight driven product and marketing proposals.
? Implement communication plans, ensure the executions resonate with community management actions.
? Be an effective partner with event marketing and retail support teams to ensure brand objectives achieved.
Communication content generation management: 18%
? Together with community manager to inspire user generated contents and leading content innovation;
? Work with global digital marketing team to manage the operations of localized websites with appropriate translations and creations needed.
Work with finance to ensure financial targets are being met: 7%
? Track marketing expenses within budget parameters.
? Track revenues and analyze trends.
Core Competencies:
Professional Know-how
? Bachelor degree or above in Marketing or Communications.
? 2-3 years of marketing and/or product development experience required.
? 1-2 years of support in the brand marketing field preferred.
? Experience in the video/digital game, hobby game, toy, entertainment, or related field preferred.
? Experience on content generation and management preferred.
? Knowledge and passion on digital/board/card strategy games is a plus.
Work Effectiveness & Adaptability:
? Proven ability to plan and execute on marketing and/or product plans.
? Good organization, prioritization and time management skills.
? Good written and oral communication skills, and strong presentation skills.
? Solid analytical and numerical skills on consumer and business insights.
? Proficient with MS Office products.
? Be optimistic and know-how on stress management.
Business Understanding:
? Experience in entertainment or game industry would be desirable.
? Experience in multinational company or PR/Media agency preferred.
Problem Analysis & Decision Making:
? This is an individual contributor position responsible for the development of marketing, product, and business plans which need to be reviewed and approved by their manager. This position is empowered to make decisions regarding the execution of these approved plans as long as they stay within the approved budget and philosophy. Significant deviations from the plan must be approved by their manager.
Interpersonal effectiveness, Leadership & Teamwork:
? Self-inspiring, recognize that everything we build reaches beyond ourselves and beyond today.
? Proactively share best practice and seeks opportunities to learn from others.
? Good verbal and written skills in Mandarin & English, fluent in business English.
