MAIN REPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

Medical Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting the overall strategic planning on team vision, mission, culture, objectives and goals for the organization management and long term development of the Medical Team. Leading the unique medical talent development strategy model based on the development demands of pharmacy industry and medical affairs with a greater breadth of knowledge and depth of skills. Building a dynamic, multi-faceted MA functions with complementary strengths across multiple dimensions and give Pfizer a genuine edge over its peers. Supporting Multi-Channel Medical program that close gaps in care and result in enhanced patient outcomes.

1. Medical Talent Development Strategy

The Medical Operations Supervisor is to create and manage unique medical talent development strategy model based on the development demands of pharmacy industry and medical affairs with a greater breadth of knowledge and depth of skills.

– To build a dynamic, multi-faceted MA functions with complementary strengths across multiple dimensions and give Pfizer a genuine edge over its peers.

– To build the right MA and MSL Competencies Model and develop “Pharma Medical Affair Talents” project and implement actions to successfully address them.

– To design and create Medical Talent Tracking and Development platform to make medical affairs talent management more efficient.

– To lead medical talent related programs working with Medical Director, different functional lines within Medical Team and HR etc.

– To design training programs planning and integrate management planning for medical talent development.

– To create and optimize medical core value courses for medical staffs to enhance the value of training and to provide guarantee of arrival for the business strategic objectives.

2. Medical Department Development Strategy

To support the Medical Department Strategy with the overall strategic planning on team vision, mission, culture, objectives and goals for the organization management and long term development of the Medical Team to ensure all strategy and tactics in accordance with the Pfizer Core Values and meet the needs of the ever-changing healthcare environment.

– To lead the Medical Department meeting activities organization in accordance with the Pfizer Core Values & GEP Culture and ensure all staffs engagement within the team.

– To coordinate medical operation strategy in culture and climate building by initiating and supporting medical culture develop projects in cost-effective way.

– To develop medical resource management strategy to enhance and optimize medical department operations by new efficient model.

– To provide support for Medical Department strategic initiatives by applying technology to solve business problems, delivering insights through analytics, improving processes through continuous improvement.

– To collect and summarize medical key strategy, tactics and accomplishments by extracting the key value and to share with global medical team, business partners and external collaborations to enhance medical department reputation.

– To support MCM program by integrating, extending and maintaining internal and external medical communication channels to engage customer in real-time, customized, broader coverage, cost-effective plateforms by advanced technology.

REQUIRED SKILL SET

· Technical

- Therapeutic area knowledge: familiar with the disease knowledge and clinical practice of the therapeutic area

- Language: Proficiency in oral and written English.

- Strong business acumen

- Strategic and logical thinking

- Strong Leadership capabilities, such as decision marking, problem solving, plan and implementation.

- Excellent communication skill and strong influencing and negotiation skills.

· Managerial

- Sustain Focus on Performance.

- Result orientation

· Education

- Bachelor degree or above in medical.

- Master of Business Administration is a plus.

· Experience

- Medical background and sales marketing experience is a plus.

- At least 2 years pharmaceutical industry or clinical experience.
