JOB SUMMARY

This role will be responsible for accelerating the revenue and profitability growth of Pfizer GIP China through identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing new business opportunities and executing on these opportunities through new initiatives and partnerships as appropriate. The role will be responsible for the identification, planning, design, execution, coordination, and communication of strategy projects. Through close coordination with other teams, deliver the strategic implementation to build and improve GIP China business .

KEY RESULT AREAS & JOB ACTIVITIES /TASKS

1. Lead the strategic planning and independently manage Business Strategy Projects. Ensure the implementation consistency cross region in China, while allow certain regionalization strategy of independent innovation to meet local market demands.

2. Use deep insight into the Chinese pharmaceutical environment and overall business trends to identify high potential growth opportunities for Pfizer GIP China.

3. Evaluate Opportunities for Business Value – Through top notch analytical skills, assess opportunities for business value with a focus on financial value, risks, synergy with core business, etc. Develop detailed business cases for opportunities.

4. Execute on Opportunities – Convert business cases into actual execution through the development of implementation plans (organic or in-organic), and where required leading pilot projects in the field.

5. Build and maintain strong working relationship with key functions, work closely with them to improve GIP China to achieve and exceed business goals. Cooperate with MKT, Medical, GAMA, GCO,SBD and other related functions on GIP products access and development.

Engage with sales team to deep understand their needs and problems, stipulate corresponding projects/plans and integrate necessary resources to support them.

6. Support Senior Leadership in Communication of China Strategy.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS

Education

· Undergraduate degree qualifications in a health related discipline or in business/marketing. Other qualifications will be considered.

· Strongly Preferred: Postgraduate or MBA qualification in Strategy, Finance, Marketing or similar.

Experience

· Pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience strongly preferred.

· At least 2 years experience in product management, strategic planning or strategy consulting project lead role.

· Experience leading and working with cross functional project teams.

Skills

· Good English skill (oral & written)

· Excellent internal and external communication and influencing skills.

· Strong sense of responsibility and self motivated

· experience managing projects within matrix organization
