JOB PURPOSE

· Responsible for supply chain planning operations by effectively managing demand planning, supply & inventory planning for imported pharmaceutical products.

· Ensure inventory availability to fulfill internal sales target by close partnership with PGS/GES suppliers and local stakeholders.

· Monitor and drive attainment of all supply chain KPIs against annual target

· Support ad hoc project for process/performance improvement purpose

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Demand Planning

1-1 Analyze and understand the logic of market forecast on regular basis

1-2 Provide necessary forecast logic and assumption to PGS/GES site

1-3 Analyze market forecast error and propose improvement direction to DP team

1-4 Coordinate with DP team to ensure the provision of long range forecast and associated principle annually.

2. Supply and inventory planning management

2-1 Monitor the supply plan and coordinate with PGS/GES site to ensure continuous supply and % in stock target

2-2 Verify replenishment system(JDA/SNP/ISS) parameters accuracy and coordinate with PGS/GES for necessary correction

2-3 Drives Supply Chain Agreement (SCA) process with PGS/GES to align supply parameters for both replenishment system and SCA.

2-4 Maintain all necessary reports to support supply planning process

2-5 Evaluate supply plan and issue supply alert summary to local commercial and other associated stakeholders for potential supply interruption

2-6 Evaluate the supply impact and escalate to region/global Supply chain org.

2-7 Drive/participate meeting with PGS/GES and regional/global supply chain to support supply relevant topics

2-8 Monitor and improve (with joint effort of local PGS sites) inventory value and inventory MOH to align with budget target

2-9 Provide short dating/excess inventory to the commercial team to identify the actions to avoid obsolete inventory and estimate potential write off volume

2-10 Active participation in regular/ad hoc meeting with local stakeholders to support supply relevant topics.

3. New products/Regulatory change launches

3-1 Coordinate with PGS/GES and local stakeholders to align the supply schedule for new product with the new product launch schedule

3-2 Coordinate with PGS/GES related to the packaging change caused by supplying site change, regulatory change or IDL renewal etc.

3-3 Evaluate and propose appropriate supply plan to cover market demand for regulatory change process.

4. Importation

4-1 Coordinate with logistics team and other associated departments to tackle importation obstacle

4-2 Coordinate with local PGS sites, RA and importation team to support referencing sample and chromatographic column procurement activities

4-3 Partner with logistics team to support importation/transportation/ customer requirement

5. Project support

5-1 Lead/ support ad hoc project for process/performance improvement purpose

5-2 Support PGS/GL&S regional/global initiative or program

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Education

· Bachelor degree in Logistics, supply chain management, management science or equivalent field

Experience

· 3 - 5 years of Supply Chain or Materials Management experience in a pharmaceutical plant environment, or equivalent

· Broad operations and systems experience, including replenishment planning, capacity analysis, manufacturing and distribution in either a market or manufacturing environment

· Sound knowledge of SAP and SAP/APO system

Skills

· Excellent analytical abilities

· Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

· Must be able to work independently and push own agenda and priority amongst a larger group

· Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint application

· Team player and good interpersonal skill

· Ability to set priorities and make decisions in a dynamic work environment

· Good problem solving capability
