Job Description

• With the reference to Cytiva’s EHS Framework and local EHS related regulation requirement, support EHS Manager to develop and drive strong EHS management programs in CTC Labs;
• Support EHS Manager to prevent EHS related non-compliances and support CTC Research teams to maintain a safe, healthy and environment friendly workplace during research and development activities execution;
• Support EHS Manager to coordinate emergency preparedness and response activity in CTC;
• Support EHS Manager to coordinate and provide direction to Research teams to ensure the EHS Management Programs are successfully implemented in CTC;
• Support EHS Manager to follow Cytiva Management of Change process to timely evaluate, screen then approve or disapprove new or modified equipment, process or facility brought into Research teams. Facilitate the EHS Impact Assessment process as needed;
• Support EHS Manager and Research teams to conduct EHS Risk Assessments and Process Hazard Analyses to define the appropriate technical solutions to mitigate the identified hazards;
• Support EHS Manager to provide EHS trainings to research teams;
• Support EHS Manager to manage Cytiva’s contractor activities, coordinate with landlord on contractor management and act as a Cytiva EHS representatives to review contractor EHS plan and sign off EHS related permits;
• Perform EHS inspections and audits of working areas, equipment and processes, follow up all identified findings to full closure;
• Support EHS Manager to perform incident investigations, identify root causes and oversee the implementation of actions;

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environment or equivalent Engineering;
• At least 2 years’ Environment, Health and Safety related working experience, R&D center working experience is preferred;
• Familiar with Environment, Safety and Health laws, regulations and standards;
• Good communication and EHS management skill, good team player in a cross functional team
• Gook spoken and written English
• Good organization skill to promote EHS activities and awareness for plant associates
• Familiar with office software including Excel, Word and PPT;
• Strong will to learn and grow
