Roles & Responsibilities:

1 EHS Compliance:

? Keep closely monitor of latest EHS laws & regulations, as well as DG chemical laws & regulations, interpret into internal applicable procedure or practice.

?Attend the external EHS meetings/trainings/seminars to obtain the information about latest requirements from regulations and authority, and the best practices from the industry. Guide the site to implement those applicable ones.

?Be expert of EHS and DG chemical regulatory requirements in order to ensure full compliance with the law & regulation requirements.

?  Manage and maintain EHS license/permit/certificate. Monitor the implementation for permit/system requirements, and ensure the data, reports, records and documents are collected, submitted and maintained as required by regulations/authority.

2. EHS operation:

?Complete tasks assigned by the China & North Asia Region EHS manager to ensure the compliance of the region, such as conduct EHS risk assessments, complete the analysis and close the gaps when have

?Support or lead the EHS projects when assigned, such as plan or coordinate for all kind of audits for EHS system (i.e. internal audit, customer audit and 3rd party audit) to MI site/offices/workshops in this Region.

?Manage company EHS system, included but not limited to plan, develop and manage qualified ISO14001 system and ISO45001 occupational health and safety management system

?Provide supports & advices for site activity or project implementations                                                                       

 ? Be expert of FM requirements, provide technical support and advices in implementing necessary corrective & preventive actions to ensure compliance to FM requirements for building and facility

?Provide EHS training on the assigned subjects.

?Closely co-work within EHS teams to ensure the smooth of daily EHS operations

?Closely cooperate with other teams for EHS projects

?Closely co-work with whole Safety & Compliance teams and complete the tasks when assigned

3. Others:

?Professional collaboration skills, such as coordinate with local authorities related to EHS topics ?As DG knowledge and environment expert, provide advice for DG chemical label and inquiry about environment management substance.

Key Competencies and Skills:

·         Good communication / influencing skills (Train, run, motivate working sessions with both internal & overseas teams)

·         Strong analytical and simulation skills

·         Ability to work on own initiative.

·         Good knowledge on EHS systems (such as ISO14001/ISO45001, etc.)

·         Good at word, excel and PPT.

       

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in chemical engineering or safety management related
• At least 3 years' work experience in chemical production related work
• Very good experience on EHS management and control
• Fluent English.
