？ Provide line leadership and management to Clinical Pharmacology Leads in DC.？ Serve on Leadership Team for GPD DC Clinical Pharmacology.？ Recruit, train, develop, mentor, and retain highly skilled clinical pharmacologists to provide effectiveand qualified resources to support GPD DC objectives and projects.？ Accountable and responsible for the clinical pharmacology deliverables for the assigned projectswithin DC either directly or via Clinical Pharmacology Leads.？ Responsible for ensuring appropriate clinical pharmacology representation on drug development andclinical sub-teams and provision of clinical pharmacology expertise and leadership to a projectallocated to DC.？ Ensure application of clinical pharmacology best practices (e.g. Enhanced Quantitative DrugDevelopment

Qualifications and Attributes:

Educational: Pharm. D., Ph.D., or equivalent training or experience in pharmacokinetics,pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, engineering or related discipline.

Demonstrated experience with clinical pharmacology aspects of drug development.

Technical Competencies:

Clinical Pharmacology: Demonstrates thorough understanding of the following: 1) principles of PK,PK-PD and pharmacology relevant to drug candidates; 2) knowledge of phase I studies includingdesign and interpretation; and 3) other relevant scientific disciplines, including drug metabolism, drugtransport, formulation sciences, biopharmaceutics, pathophysiology and therapeutics.

Communication Skills: Demonstrates ability to effectively present clinical pharmacology data,development plans and strategies to various audiences in both verbal and written form; demonstratesability to write clinical pharmacology results, interpretations (including impact) and conclusions forreports and regulatory documents that are clear and concise.

Scientific Excellence: Demonstrates understanding of the complexities and recent developments inclinical pharmacology and the implications for drug development.

Regulatory Knowledge: Understands and is able to apply appropriate FDA and ICH guidelines in thedesign of clinical development plans and studies.
