1.Technically develop large ductile iron castings (>10Tons) suppliers
Technically drive and follow up on different production process steps, including castings (moulding, melting, pouring, shake-out, grinding, etc.), machinings (milling, boring, cutting tools maintenance, etc.), NDT (UT, MT, VT, etc.), and surface treatment (sand blasting, metalization, air-less painting, etc.)
2.Problem solving
Drive solutions for NCR (Non-conformance Reports) and quality incidents, and drive / monitor continuous improvements of the suppliers' production process, to lift the suppliers technical capability and reliability to SWP needs.
3.Technically facilitate and coordinate supplier qualification
Facilitate and coordinate qualification process together with partnership function colleagues, actively follow up suppliers' action plans on closing gaps in manufacturing process, to secure FAI (product qualification) success.

4.Support design-to-cost initiatives (and project support)
Support design-to-localization initiatives together with SWP Project Manager, other crosss-functional colleagues, and suppliers, in order to substantially reduce the costs of the end product.
5.Support effectiveness of operational procurement
Operating or supporting an active supplier management scheme, to obtain the best performance from suppliers, in terms of on-time-delivery, quality effectiveness, etc.

6.Participate in workgroups and work in projects
in order to stay informed and keep and others informed, and exert influence at an early stage.
