职位描述
Goals/Mission
- Work as a focal point for wind turbine certification /component compliance related tasks at SWP EN APAC and coordinate relevant certification activities between SWP Engineering and certification agency, i.e. DNV, GL or CGC. Convey certification guidelines / requirements to cross function teams and drive wind turbine compliance of relevant codes and standards.
Working Partners/Contacts
- The certification engineer reports to the Head of PLM department of SWP Engineering China. Internally, his/her main contacts are engineering in APAC. Externally, his/her main contacts are product certification and compliance regulatory agencies .i.e DNV, GL, UL, CSA etc.
Tasks
- Coordinate wind turbine & its accessories certification and compliance activities between SWP and the Certification Agency as per various international and local codes/ standards.
- Prepare certification documentation and submit to the certification agency for obtaining relevant certificate
- Define local wind turbine certification strategy in accordance with local wind turbine market requirements and other relevant local regulations. i.e. CGC
- Establish background of documentation requirements for wind turbine certification in China Region Market, e.g., CGC.
- Work with SWP Engineering global PLM team to support / develop wind turbine related product compliance strategy for global market.
- Support sourcing engineering to facilitate the local sourced component compliance activities i.e. CE, UL/ CSA certification for all relevant parts.
- Support design engineering to optimize the design for product compliance purpose.
- Provide input during ECM process and new project bidding phase for any certification and compliance requirement topics.
Education
- Bachelor or master degree in mechanical /electrical engineering or other equivalent majors.
Knowledge/Languages
- Solid knowledge of product compliance related codes and standards.
- Understanding of the IEC, GL, DNV guideline and standard requirements on wind turbine.
- General knowledge of generally accepted codes, standards, and approvals related to global regions .i.e Europe, North America, and China etc.
- Fluent English in writing and speaking.
- Ability to work with global team members across cultural boundaries.
- Self-motivated and Team Player.
- Pro-active, Design creativity and problem solving capabilities.
- Appropriate project management skill and problem solving skill will be preferred.
- Team work spirit. Collaboration with local and international teams.
Experience
- 5~8 year experience with relevant certification and compliance regulatory agency ie. DNV, GL, CE, CSA, UL etc.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- The experience with wind industry certification will be a plus.
- Experience in multi-national company will be a plus.
