Job Purpose:
To assist the Manager in defining the financial targets, productivity standards, market focus & share objectives, customer satisfaction & loyalty objectives for Global Accounts.
Minimum Education & Experience:
University Graduate plus minimum 5 years’ sales experience in shipping/logistics field. Or F.5 with minimum 9 years working in shipping/logistics field with sales experience. Excellent knowledge of the seasonal logistics patterns and requirements of each key industries.
Key Accountabilities:
1.To perform the sales activity of Territory Sales Manager focusing on Global Accounts.
2.To work according to the business development strategy and interact with the product department, overseas offices, sales, vendors to implement sales strategies.
3.To assist the Regional Sales Manager in performing retention & penetration of designated accounts, as well as proactively identify the respective customer’s potential & seasonal opportunities in order to solicit new business covering all lane-segments of these accounts.
4.To report and update the business/development status of designated responsibilities.
5.To gather market information and share with team members.
6.To travel overseas and solicit strategic sales activities.
7.To be responsible for special projects as deemed necessary by the senior management.
Working Conditions:
1.Physical effort is light, requiring occasional lifting/carrying of light/medium loads or working with machines requiring dexterity & coordination. May also require frequent standing and/or walking.
2.No more than occasional exposure to one or more unpleasant (noise, heat, dust, etc.) or to somewhat hazardous conditions
