Sandvik in Luoyang is seeking for an EHS Engineer

The position would directly report to GM of Luoyang Company, below please refer to the job description:

Key performance areas:

·Developing EHS management system with reference to global EHS standards, local EHS related law GOV regulation and actual operation status in local plant.

·Following the EHS KPI, develop work plan and drive the execution in Luoyang company;

·Coordinate the implementation of Sandvik EHS Policy, standards, procedures and programs in Luoyang Company.

·Conduct daily on-site inspection to oversee safety operation status and drive corrective actions to the non-conformances via systematical and effective way.

·Coordinate and deliver EHS Training, shop floor EHS communication to enhance workforce safety awareness and promote safety culture.

·Work with EHS team to conduct EHS assessment and evaluation, internal audit, identify gap and develop action plans to continually improve EHS management system.

·Coordinate and lead incident investigation, root cause identification, corrective and preventive actions development and completion status follow-up.

·Provide EHS technical support to operation related activities.

·Liaise with relevant authorities on EHS matters, such as Safety Bureau and Environment Bureau.

·Responsible of the fixed asset management ,such as connecting with the supplier of asset for maintenance and trouble-shooting , handle the procedure of the special tools inspecting and verifying by the local government .

Your profile:

·Bachelor's degree or above with major in Environmental, Safety Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

·Minimum 3 years’ experience in EHS related position.

·Knowledgeable in EHS working practice in mechanical production process.

·Familiar with EHS regulations laws, ISO14001 OHSAS18001.

·Good communication and presentation skill with fluent English.

·Working proactively with result oriented and teamwork spirit.

As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment.
