Job Summary
The Assistant Product Manager is primarily responsible for collaborating with the Country Manager to achieve sales and margin goals by assisting with inventory management, sku creations and market research of products for the information technology/product management division of Newegg.com.
Essential Job Functions
? Primary - Manage the sku creation and mapping process for all product categories listed on Newegg.ca, including combo creation, maintenance, CVF compliance and information tracking/reporting.
? Monitor deactivation of sku’s and report any changes to Category Manager.
? Utilize available reporting tools (BI) to analyze category sales trends and provide category product forecasts for top 10 performing categories being sold on NE.ca
? Ensure the inventory is managed according to the set standards including inventory ratio, cold items are returned or sold quickly; slow moving items are not overstocked and inventory is balanced among North American OPC locations.
? Keep abreast of market trends in Canada and identify new product opportunities that reflect customer demands, needs and opportunities.

Minimum Requirements
? Bachelor Degree in English, Business, International trade or equivalent
? General understanding of e-commerce, marketing principles and retailing preferred
? 1 year of industrial related work experience in
? Must be able to meet corporate level sales revenue and margin goals in order maximize profitability
? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
? Excellent English communication skills (both Verbal and Written)

? Proven track record of handling multiple projects at one time, successfully
? Self-starter with a positive attitude who is deadline driven and results oriented

? Regular use of the telephone and company e-mail for company communication is essential.
? Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers and FAX machines.
