JOB OBJECTIVES:


This incumbent will provide seamless application engineering support to Sales Team including but not limited to technology selection, on site problem shooting, data packaging review, testing design, technical and technology strategy for specific customers, catalyst selection for key platform for strategy customers. The candidate and his/her team will translate the local requirements to technology requirement for R&D to develop the right technology for China.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Provide necessary support to sales personnel including technology selection, proposal fine tuning, test design, data package review;


2. Support on site problem shooting;


3. Develop and execute technology strategy in conjunction with sales personnel;


4. Maintain internal technical database that include but not limited to technology information, problem and problem shooting strategy and results, internal and external technical training material;


5. Provide basic technical training and guidance to sales personnel.


REQUIREMENTS:


1. Master degree or above in automotive/mechanical engineering or chemistry discipline with one year practical experience in technical area of automotive exhaust system/auto catalyst;


2. Good communication skill for all levels of people; outstanding presentation technique, fluent spoken and good written English; good understanding of cross-cultural management style.


3. Excellent executor; action oriented but organizing; "can-do" spirit; team player; capability in handling pressures and meeting deadline;

4. The latest job should be for Western Organization is preferred.
