Job Responsibilities:
？ Evaluate, develop, and facilitate implementation of new and alternate source materials into current and new production compounds.
？ Facilitate implementation of current and new rubber compound formulations by working with the production facilities in optimizing their mixing, extrusion and calendaring processes.
？ Work with the production facilities in their evaluation and approval of new and alternate source materials.
？ Track the performance existing suppliers and monitor the quality, consistency and process capability of the raw materials used in current and new production compounds.
？ Initiate, analyze and summarize laboratory development studies on rubber compounds.
？ Participate, advise or lead as needed on product development, process improvement and problem solving teams that are by nature global and multi-disciplinary.
？ Document investigations and plant trials in the form of detailed technical reports, presentations and management updates.
？ Promote technical relationships with suppliers, universities and other entities to help ensure CTR is aware of and is utilizing material, compounding and processing technologies.
Job Requirements:
？ College Diploma (2-3 year) or University Degree (4-year) in Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Technology or Science
？ Minimum of 3-years of relevant experience in tire rubber compounding and composite technology or in related industry
？ Multi-lingual: English & Mandarin with sound skills in reading, writing & speaking English
？ Good communication and technical documentation skills.
？ Proficiency with design of experiment methods with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
？ Functional knowledge of tire engineering or manufacturing processes and understanding of quality systems and concepts
？ Must be detail oriented, self-starting, and must be able to complete projects with minimal supervision.
？ Proficiency with standard PC applications including: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Visio.

材料工程师
工作职责：
1. 评估、开发以及改进现有和新的生产配方中使用的新材料或替代材料。
2. 与工厂合作，改进现有和新的生产配方以优化材料合成、挤出和出厂流程。
3. 与工厂合作，评估和审批新的和替代的原材料。
4. 跟踪和监控现有供应商提供的现行和新的生产配方中使用的新材料或替代材料的质量。
5. 启动实验室开发项目，分析和总结所有橡胶合成的实验结果。
6. 必要时，参与、建议或领导全球性和综合性的产品开发、工艺改善以及问题解决团队的项目。
7. 将所有调查研究和工厂试验的结果形成详细的技术报告、介绍等文件，作为管理文件更新。
8. 促进与供应商、大学和其它机构的关系，确保固铂的先进生产工艺
职位要求：
1． 工程、化学、数学、技术或科学类相关专业大专以上学历
2． 至少3年以上橡胶配方及合成工艺或相关行业工作经验
3． 良好的中英文听说读写能力
4． 良好的交流和技术文件撰写能力
5． 较强的分析和解决问题的能力，熟悉实验方法设计
6． 功能性了解轮胎工程或生产工艺，理解质量系统和概念
7． 细致，自律，能独立完成项目
8． 计算机应用熟练，包括：Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Visio.
