Key Area of Responsibility:
? Develop sourcing strategies for chemical commodity sourcing.
? Achieve saving target by sourcing methodology.
? Drive preferred supplier selection, existing supplier evaluation and management.
? Lead contract and price negotiations for sourcing.
? Maintain and implement commodity strategies, program management for cost reductions.
? Responsible for implementation of Purchasing Control Police, working instructions and guidelines for users on how to deploy it.
? Lead communication of each BU, with serve on your own initiative, guide a need and meet the demand.
? Continue drive process improvement.
? Independently identify, design, direct, and perform analyses to resolve complex supply chain issues.
Key Performance Indicators:
Typical KPI’s for the function are:
? Target Project Cost(budget)
? Cost Price Reduction
? SOP Release
Qualifications/Capabilities:
? Bachelor degree in chemical and medicine
? 4-6 year experience in pharmaceutical industry; preferably extended with 3+ year experience in chemical sourcing area.
? Knowledge of Procurement SOP draft and release.
? Detailed knowledge of cost accounting concepts and techniques are required as well as a fundamental understanding of basic financial management techniques.
? Strong communication, data analysis and influence skills are considered critical.
? Proven track record of collaborating between suppliers and internal project functions to drive best cost and quality
? Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across functions and organizations, especially with R&D.
? Strong ability to think strategically and drive implementation of key capabilities across a large organization.
? Willingness to spend a significant amount of time traveling, including overseas
