A. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:

· Assists in making calculations for the production equipment described in Item A.
· Makes cost estimations independently for changes made to the externally purchased production equipment as described in Item A as well as inquiries on the same.
· Participates in FMEAs and concept talks with the necessary departments to design plastic injection molding parts
· Assists in making technical analyses of all plastic parts.
· Assists in specifying plastics according to specific component criteria.
· Compiles Requirement Specifications/Specification Manuals to inquire about and order injection molding tools.
· Data dispatch for inquiries and orders (internal/external).
· Independently sets up and maintains project plans and maintenance history folders.
· Holds conceptual tool design talks and releases conceptual tool designs.
· Independently monitors deadlines and quality during construction of the production equipment described in Item A (includes business trips for several days at home and abroad).
· Works out product information for the production equipment described in Item A.
· Participates in measuring and evaluating component parts and implementing the necessary measures.
· Independently acquires all the documents and data required to transfer the tools for the production equipment described in Item A.
· Transfers all the production equipment described in Item A to series production.
· Prepares cost negotiations with sub-suppliers or conducts independent negotiations for values up to 2.500,--?
· Provides technical support in cost negotiations with the OEM.
· Independently maintains customer statii

· Completed apprenticeship as a tool mechanic/tool-maker and/or plastics processing engineer; preferably a master craftsman, technician, engineer and/or skilled worker with at least 5 years' work experience

· Several years of practical experience in contructing and/or producing the production equipment described in Item A
·Project experience

· Able to work independently
· Able to work in a team
· Class "B" drivers license
· Knowledge of English
