**The Role: **
This position is responsible for developing and supporting Casting & Forging category in China together with
Regional Category Manager, Castings & Forgings (China) for Metso Flow Control business.

Location of job: Huoshan town, Liuan City, Anhui

**Position Description: **
- Participating supplier development projects. Evaluate, establish and develop reliable steel casting and
machining process with respect to quality, service, price and capabilities
- Manage daily sourcing routines at supplier (new order clarification, scheduling and PO follow up)
- Quality follow up and clarification of quality issues
- Expediting and ensuring on time delivery at suppliers’ site
- Inspection of parts on site
- Part documentation follow up and inspection
- Qualify, develop and manage supplier(s) on site
- Selection, assessment of suppliers
- Auditing and developing suppliers in China to achieve strategy plan and operating plan
- Ability to analyze complex internal and external data to drive process and product improvement
- Drives improvements at supplier(s) to achieve benchmark quality and delivery levels; on-time delivery and quality performance management to achieve goals
- Report key performance indicators on a weekly and monthly basis
- Maintain effective relations with peers, colleagues and management; serve as the primary liaison between sites/commodity team and suppliers

**Position Requirements: **
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in the supplier development & material control and negotiation
skills
- High level of analytical ability to assess and resolve complex, technical problems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Previous experience working with suppliers
- Candidate has operated in a matrix organization
- High degree of desk-top computer proficiency and familiar office systems

**Preferences: **
- Machining-, drawing- and specification know-how
- Good knowledge of NDT processes
- Experience in steel casting and machining
- Good written and verbal skills in English and Chinese
- A confident and independent person with high level of integrity and trust
- Assertive, yet diplomatic when dealing with people
- Has good energy level and acts pro-actively
- Good problem solving skills and has the ability to multi-task
- Innovative mindset and has the ability to suggest, lead and implement changes 举报 分享
