Objective of the Position
? Maintaining good Overall Equipment Efficiency ( plant facilities) in all the plant
? Setting up new plant, managing the infrastructure, facility, producing lines and related tooling & fixtures
? Designing the process and ensuring the SOP of plants on time
? Ensuring the required OEE / TPM of whole plant
Accountabilities
The position incumbent ensures, that
? Setting up Taizhou plant, including related infrastructures, facilities, producing lines and related tooling & fixtures
? Ensuring the SOP of plant, including:
？ Keeping all the manufacturing facilities and equipment ready and functional
？ Designing process and ensuring the quality, efficiency and cost
? Setting up TPM system in plant, managing the status of equipment, spare parts and related maintenance taskforce.
? Cooperating with the program managers for the successful new program introduction to China, managing related outsourcing of fixtures, tooling and related engineering service
? Under TS16949, providing related reports of APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA etc
? With the Lean Manufacturing thoughts and tools, defining an effective process for the manufacturing system and continuously improve it.
? Able to travel as required
? Organize and supervise IPT/ MPT/ EMPT Gate Trial & their reporting
? Take the lead of Engineering samples build & submit per customer requirement before SOP
? Create yearly functional budget and track & update monthly / quarterly spending & forecasting
Requirement Profile
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:
? Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Welding Engineering
? More than 5 years working experience in engineering field of manufacturing plant
? Familiar with setting up the ME & process engineering capability in automotive industry
? Knowledge of Quality systems such as ISO14001, ISO9001, TS16949, VDA6.3 and tools
? Experience of Lean manufacturing
? Managerial experience in leading a team for both manufacturing & process engineering
? Good English in both oral and written
? Experience in automotive field or exhaust system industry will be a plus

Technical Expertise: be knowledgeable of metal welding in MIG/ MAG/ TIG
