Job Summary:
Sr. Technical Engineer is part of GUNNEBO CSO which is a global sourcing office for whole GUNNEBO business. In this position, he/she will offer the technical support for the metal projects developed in Asia and service all GUNNEBO factories.

Responsibilities Include:
? Supporting sourcing and SQE for the qualification process of metal suppliers and major focus on the process evaluation.
? Work with cross-functional team and suppliers to participate in advance quality planning for sourcing projects.
? Supporting SQE for the follow up of the supplier corrective action and drive the actions to completion.
? Communicate with R&D department for the technical transfer and work with Asia supplier to use the right process to make the right products on time.
? Lead all the cost reduction program of metal parts and driving supplier for the continuous cost reductions by process improvement, material change, re-engineering etc.
? Develop process control plan, conduct process capability study and review the PPAP documents.
? Maintain accurate records in accordance with policy and procedure.
? Conduct business in a manner that is in compliance with Gunnebo's policies and procedures including Gunnebo Business Code of Conduct.


Position Requirements:
? Combined 10 or plus years experiences in engineering for the fabrication and welding in the metal areas.
? Be familiar with all the common quality tools.
? Experienced in supplier audit per ISO 9000, QS9000 and/or TS16949 and manufacturing process control, especially in the areas of fabrication, machining and welding etc.
? Strong English communication ability in speaking, writing and reading.
? Experienced for the Secure Storage Products (safes, cabinets and locks etc) is preferred.
? Self-driven and result and process oriented. Motivated to work effectively without direct supervision.
? Good interpersonal skills.
? Solid computer skills in Excel, Power Point and Word.
? Willing to travel extensively (up to 80%).
? Academy degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or other related field.
