Job Duties (Essential Part):

*New Product Development:

- Review all specification packages through development phase and make recommendations for revision or changes when applicable.

- Coordinate the raw material and monitor the proto type process through development to ensure on time delivery of fabric and final products.

- Review, distribution, validation and approval of color standards for trims and accessory materials as directed.

- Ensure sales samples for assigned product categories are on time, of good quality, and are accurate.

- Assist in the collaboration and communication of all raw materials and trim specification packages.

- Coordination of material compliance testing as directed.

- Assist in the coordination of new materials library and storage by type.

*Timeline Execution and Team Collaboration:

- works with US team to coordinate in line sampling

- Works with US team and Senior Developer in Burton Shenzhen for counter sampling/ BOM costing projects

- Supports the development calendar and clearly communicates all critical dates to all cross functional partners.

- Assist in Buy Ready monitoring and tracking, both at development and bulk stage.

*Production and others:

- Coordinate the timely delivery of development samples and R&D projects to the US PM and the Burton Asia development team.

- Review production spec against pre-production garment and sales sample comments to create revision comments as directed.

- Assist in monitoring and providing solutions for production related issues to ensure quality products on time delivery.

- Other garment development related tasks as assigned.

Requirement:

- At least 3-5 year’s experience relevant factory or garment merchandising experience, Knit experience preferred

- Major in textile with 3 years college or above background is preferable

- Strong PC computer skills including MS Office and Outlook required

- Good written or spoken English and Mandarin required

- Good teamwork spirit

- Can work under pressure.

- Locate in Kunshan (昆山市) , work in Kunshan Development office .

- Good analytical and interpersonal skills, good team work spirit.
