Duties of Position:
1.Supporting Global Supplier Management on specific commodity.
2.SPS (Sanmina Procurement System) preparation for quarterly price negotiation.
3.Data correction and cleaning on SPS.
4.Develop and maintain suppliers' contact.
5.Segregate and send RFQ package to suppliers. Follow up with suppliers on responses; educate suppliers when necessary.
6.Analyze supplier's data (price, lead time, MOQ, T&C's, etc) Compile supplier's bids into SPS file.
7.Assist Commodity Manager in price negotiations, business awards to suppliers, setting target pricing.
8.Generate award file and maintain data in Global Supply Management database.
9.Identify cost reduction opportunities.
10.Work with suppliers on alternate sourcing to support plant's request.
11.Resolve price discrepancies between suppliers, plants and Finance. Team with GSM to meet deadlines as necessary.

Qualifications Required:
1.Existing best-in-class supplier relationships.
2.3+ years experience in commodity sourcing strategies.
3.Must have experience in plant materials function.
4.Large organization experience necessary.
5.Good knowledge of components, their manufacturers and the market's pricing trends.
6.Solid negotiation skills, able to interact with high-level management.
7.Proficiency in written and spoken English.
8.Knowledge of MS ACCESS preferred.
