Senior Application Specialist, MM

Based in Kunshan

Responsibilities include:

· Analyze business requirement.

· Compile functional and technical specifications.

· Develop solutions / applications or have them developed.

· Document and test applications.

· Roll applications out globally.

· Assist in analyzing and harmonizing business processes within the roll-out.

· Support applications according to our Service Level Agreements.

· Assist in estimating project costs for new development requests.

· The role will require excellent knowledge of KONE manufacturing and material management processes or similar business processes.

· Ensure that KONE and GD policies, procedures and processes are met.

· Gather best practices to share amongst the team and other units/teams.

We expect you to have

· Excellent knowledge of SAP MM processes.

· Min. 4 years’ experience with SAP project roll-out, preferably working very closely with the business and operations teams.

· Experience as a business user of SAP is a requirement.

· Product knowledge of Elevator and Escalator is valued.

· Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into information technology specifications.

· Experience covering SAP R/3 ECC 6.0, BOM/Back flush, Variant Configuration, EDI/IDOC/ALE, MRP, LSMW, Web technologies.

· Ability to balance the latest technology with real business needs.

· Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

· Project management certification would be an asset

· Strong communication skills and sound analytical skills.

· University degree in relevant technical field.

· Comfortable working in a multinational environment.

· Fluency in English and Chinese.
