Internship description:

The objective of this internship is two folds:

1) Market Research on the potential for the products made in our China factory in the Chinese Automotive Industry.

2) Market Research for the potential for our global products in China.

Deliverables:

1) China Automotive & Earthmover Industries: Major Players and annual production

2) Analysis on our competitors: Major players, size, SWOT Analysis, etc.

3) Estimated market size, Competition Analysis, 5 Forces Analysis, etc.

Time permitting, the student can propose a strategy to enter the market for our high quality, high cost products against locally available low cost products.

Description of profile required:

1) MBA student with experience in marketing, purchasing or sales is a plus.

2) Experience in automobile sector is a plus, with connections in the field preferred.

3) Dynamic person who is not afraid to contact people (potential customers, competitors, retailers, etc.) to ask questions

4) Analytical mind that can clearly present the global picture and all the connections.

5) Efficient person who can go straight to the point

Must be fluent in English and Chinese (need to talk with people who can only speak Chinese and must be able to read Chinese websites).
