GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Global Sourcing team is searching for a highly motivated Senior Sourcing Engineer to lead development of packaging for all brands product under Newell Rubbermaid group. Main duty of this position is to handle new product development and explore packaging productivity opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Manage packaging development for all new product from concept to production deployment
? Work with global team to investigate, design, cost, specify and implement packaging solution that are sustainable, cost effective, production efficient and align with both customer and consumer expectations
? Source and develop new potential suppliers to support company
? Coordinate with Quality and Engineer team to qualify new suppliers
? Cost Analysis to ensure the cost is competitiveness
? Coordinate with Quality team to conduct packaging sample testing
? Explore some productivity opportunities with different GBU
? Work out a strategy to implement productivity idea to budget project.
? Support supplier manufacturing sites to implement new packaging components, troubleshoot technical issues and drive continuous improvement
? Report out packaging development status during key business update and project milestone meetings.

REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or related field
? 7 years working experience or above.
? In a consumer products industry with consumer focused packaging
? Demonstrate knowledge of packaging design, material and technologies
