Job Description:
1.Ensure suppliers invoices are processed correctly and settled promptly.
2.Ensure accurate and complete billing of all goods and services.
3.Closely monitor working capital to ensure availability of funds as and when required.
4.Ensure prompt and accurate recording of the division's financial transactions
5.Prepare financial and management reports for decision making purposes.
6.Ensure that the accounting system is working efficiently
7.Plan the year end audits to ensure the necessary financial records and working papers are prepared within the set schedules and deadlines.
8. Ensure wages are paid on time and that statutory deductions are paid within the specified deadlines.
9. Ensure the company complies with the tax laws and regulations by ensuring taxes are paid within deadlines and the relevant returns are submitted.

12.Manage the selection, development, motivation, performance and retention of Accounting, stores and purchasing personnel.
13.Preparation of the Division's budgets and quarterly forecasts
14.Carry out project appraisals and provide recommendations and manage Capital Expenditure.


Educational Requirements: Indicate the minimum education level required to perform the job.
1.Bachelor's degree
2.CPA, ACCA qualifications
3.Thorough understanding of tax laws
4.Experience with payroll and accounting packages incl ERP implementation
5.IT experience
