Yunnan Normal University Affiliated High School, AEUA International Academy (AIA)

We are looking for teachers who want to teach in Yunnan, China for the new semester starting in Mar 2012. Positions that are available now are as follows:

Work Conditions:
- Location: Kunming City, Yunnan Province
- Salary: 6,000 - 9,000 RMB/M, negotiable in person
- Start Date: Mar 2012


1. Teaching position: ESL teacher
Position Requirements:
- Native English Speaker
- BACH or Higher, TESOL Preferred
- 1-2 years experience preferred
Position Description:
- Teaching SSP (structure/speaking practice), conversation and/or electives as assigned
- Preparing lesson plans, exercises and tests
- Testing, evaluating and counseling the students regarding classroom performance
***Basic to intermediate skill in Chinese listening, speaking is preferred.

2. Teaching position: SAT teacher
Position Requirements:
- American or Canadian
- BACH or Higher
- In-depth understanding of SAT test technique
- Obtained high scores in SAT exam:>1500/1600 or >2200/2400 is preferred
- 1-2 years SAT training or previous teaching experience
Position Description:
- Give lessons to SAT students (critical reading, math, and writing)
- Teach SAT exam preparation classes
- prepare teaching material or plan
- Be responsible, hard working with full of passion
***Basic to intermediate skill in Chinese listening, speaking is preferred.

3. Teaching position: TOEFL/IELTS teacher
Position Requirements:
- TOESL/ESL Certificate or TOEFL/IELTS teaching experience is required
- Stickler for grammar, spelling and vocabulary
- Experience with standardized examinations (TOEFL/IELTS)
Position Description:
- Teach TOEFL/IELTS exam preparation classes
- prepare teaching material and tests
***Basic to intermediate skill in Chinese listening, speaking is preferred.

4. Teaching position: Math teacher
Position Requirements:
- BACH or Higher Degree in Math or Education
- Teaching certificate required
- Several teaching experience in high school math
Position Description:
- Teach math in high school level ranging from grade 10-12
- Actively teach students, create lesson plans, assign and correct homework, manage students in the classroom, and help students prepare for standardized testing
- Demonstrate numeric functions, equations, and various mathematical principles to students; also help students think hypothetically, figure out causes and effects, understand mathematical structures, and verify solutions.
***Basic to intermediate skill in Chinese listening, speaking is preferred.

5. Teaching position: Teacher for Literature/History/Geography /Brief Introduction of America
Position Requirements:
- Native English Speaker
- BACH or Higher Degree in Education or related major (Literature/History/Geography)
- Teaching certificate required
- At least 3 years teaching experience preferred
Position Description:
- Give classes, grade students' assignments and tests

6. Teaching position: English teacher for Oral English/Reading/Writing/Listening/Grammar
Position Requirements:
- Native English Speaker
- BACH or Higher, TESOL/TEFL Preferred
- 1-2 years teaching experience preferred
- Energetic, active, patient
- High degree of responsibility
- Powerful communication skills with children
Position Description:
- Give courses of speaking/reading/writing/listening/grammar
- Prepare teaching material and regular test
-Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.

三、考核程序及内容
教师岗位测评分专业试讲和面试两个阶段。试讲内容为您应聘岗位的专业核心课程（具体内容自选），试讲时间为20-30分钟，请自行准备试讲内容板书和PPT。试讲由六名以上专业教师听课、提问。
四、预约面试时间：将通过电话通知或电子邮件告知。
