SUMMARY
Provide a coordinated technical effort to Donaldson Engine Aftermarket in Greater China in achieving our targetedsales figures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop and provide technical training and presentation materials. Conduct product training and technical seminar to our distributors and customers.
Monitor and analyze competitors' activities (i.e., new/modified product) in the market.
Provide best technical approach and best solution to our distributors and customers.
Establish good relationships with our distributors/customers in the region in order to provide them with the proper product applications and improve their knowledge of our products.
Work with our experts in other Donaldson entities to minimize product complaints and resolve any that arise immediately.
Investigate and determine the product defects and continue to pursue the case to the appropriate people until corrective action is taken.
Develop the network of contacts with distributors to get precise input when carry out an investigation on our product complaints.
Involve in project by submitting a proper technical proposal and follow-up in all technical aspects until the project is closed.
Maintain technical responsibility by working independently at distributor's and customer's sites.
Carry out technical capabilities check, application integration, associated maintenance and technical problems as and when required.
As a trainer, share all technical skills, experiences, and knowledge with our distributors, customers, and sales personnel to help them cope with the demands of the competitive market.
Contribute technical supports in developing our technical capabilities in this region.
Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor as and when required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Science, Technical or Engineering field, and minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position in a relevant industry.
SKILLS & ABILITITIES
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin is mandatory.
Self-motivated
Technical competent
Ability to read and comprehend instructions varying in complexity
Ability to write professional proposals, and precise reports and correspondence
Ability to write clearly and in a manner suitable for the conduct of professional business
Ability to effectively present ideas to and communicate with customers
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the company
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
