Main description

The National Food Merchandiser is in charge of drawing the store maps on autoCAD system for all new Carrefour stores and also the main remodeling projects. He/She has a key role inside Carrefour China Merchandise department: by optimizing the allocation of the product categories in the stores, following the guidelines of our Merchandise concept, he/she is fully part of the performance of our quickly growing company. He/She is in the center of a process involving various departments both at Head Office level and in the Regions. The position is based in Shanghai Head Office but business trips will be organized in order to meet the local teams and check the physical stores.

Education background

-Level : Bachelor degree/Master degree

-Field : Design, engineering or related fields

English level

Speak and write fluently (Foreign boss)

Technical skills

Two important skills are required:

- Strong sense of merchandise (previous working experience in store for instance)

- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, and notions about 3D max, sketch up etc…

If the candidate has only one of the 2 skills, the other one can be learned through on job training.
