Position: Senior Demand Planner
Location: Shanghai

Important Note:
Initial 3 to 6 months will be based in Waigaoqiao FTZ to learn the product knowledge as well as internal operation system. It will be transferred back to Shanghai downtown Hongqiao office as a result of successful completion and application of the training.

Job Purpose:
Provide accurate and effective data analysis on sales forecast, demand and purchase orders, inventory and safety stock, delivery and shipment. This role will be the major resource of overall supplier chain information to support production, distribution and sales operations in APAC.

Main Responsibilities
Forecast Management
- Maintain statistical forecast within system in time manner.
- Liaise with Sales & Marketing to ensure forecasts and inventory reflects company plans and any upcoming promotional activity.
- Product life cycles maintenance to ensure new products are launched and obsolete products are phased out in accordance with company product development plans.
- Liaise with suppliers to maintain adequate stock to ensure forecasted demand is met and levels are within budget.

Company Supply Chain Requirements
- Maintain Master Data relating to products within Movex
- Oversee the inventory levels across warehouse facilities to meet demand.
- Safety stock implementation, control of stock level and supervision of inventory
- Planning, advice and recommendations on product ranges with Marketing & Sales to ensure SKU requirements are met and within targets.
- Ensure demand forecast reflect sales expectations and estimates.
- Maintain products and settings within Movex to support supply chain functions and processes
- Operations support to the Sr. Inventory planer as required

Reporting
- Preparation of monthly supply chain management reports, and other required reports, within established deadlines, to assist in management decision-making

Qualifications
- Bachelors/University degree.
- 4 years working experience in material planning and supply chain management.
- Familiar with MRP/ ERP system.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Outlook etc.).
- Srong data analytical skills.
- Demonstrated success in problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
