Beyond Borders seeks to bring a new and innovative business model into the market for short-term study and volunteer abroad opportunities. As Kunming is known as China’s gateway to South and Southeast Asia, Beyond Borders has chosen Kunming as a location for its Asia-Pacific offices due to the wide-ranging language skills of its people.

Our company develops and manages study and volunteer abroad programs across the Asia-Pacific region and building institutional relations with our working partners. While the position is based in Kunming, Beyond Borders programs are not limited to the city nor to China.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Intermediate Thai language ability

-Intermediate Thai language ability and English skills would use to conduct a variety of activities such as contacting potential service providers including language tutors, non-profit organizations, and host families all primarily in Thailand and English-speaking countries. This will serve as a liaison between partners in Thailand and our clients/students who are based abroad (primarily in the US and Europe). Additionally, the candidate will also be responsible for contacting students and young travelers from English-speaking countries inquiring about our programs either by phone or email on a day to day basis.
泰语和英语作为主要语言工具用来组织各类活动：如联系泰国或英语国家当地语言教师、非营利机构和寄宿家庭。还通过每天的电话或电子邮件与主要来自欧美的学生或年轻客户联系，解答相关项目内容问题等，来作为公司的泰国合作伙伴和主要来自美国欧洲客户之间沟通的桥梁。

- Basic accounting skill mainly for manage company accounting, for example:
- Checking expense reports according to budgets and accounting policy of China.
- Making periodical finance reports for internal departments and headquarter.
- Arrange the annual audit.
- Declare tax every quarter.
- Improving financial rules and procedures.
- Renewing our licenses.
- Other administration works when needed

- 根据预算和中国的会计政策检查各项费用报告。
- 制作各部门和总部定期财务报告。
- 安排年度审计。
- 每季度申报纳税。
- 改善和提高公司内部的财务制度和实施细则。
- 更新和年检我们的经营许可证。

Salary and benefits will be discussed after the interview, but before we issue an offer letter. Some of the benefits of working for Beyond Borders are: five insurances, a two-day weekend, performance based rewards, an annual bonus (one extra month salary), and flexible working hours-- employees can begin work at 9 or 10 am, or even later.
