The main responsibility is to deliver aggressive profitable sales growth in the segments of Textile, Film, PMC and the introduction and sale of New Product and Services.
Specific responsibilities are the following:
Acquire new customers for our products and services in our segments. Work with customers and our development team in order to develop new products or services for our customers.
. Responsible for following customers with direct Budget responsibility for defined Key Accounts.
. Conduct value and price negotiations with key accounts and close sales contracts.
. Identify accurately, timely and effectively customers’ requirements and objectives.
. Evaluate market needs and opportunities and coordinate efforts with product development, production, and division management to support these needs.
. Identifying market/customer requirements and defining solutions for organizations based on the Company.s experience in and on prevailing/potential product manufacturing capabilities? a major growth area will be the above highlighted segments?
. Identifying market opportunities?
. Identifying emerging demand for new products and subsequently assist in defining and justifying investments or projects to adequately respond to this emerging demand?
. Keeping abreast through literature, conferences, exhibitions and customer contacts of the new developments at the major competitors?
. He/she should have the experience and ability to explore and establish long term partnerships with key customers to develop the best products?
. He/she should be alert on identifying business opportunities at large i.e. beyond the existing product/market combinations.
. Key success factor will be the coordination of activities within and amongst the different supplying regions and divisions.
. The performance of this sales position will be measured by the growth of sales volume, by the income contribution, the new product and services sales and customer satisfaction.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
. Sales or product management experience
. Proven track record in selling to large and complex organizations
. Higher education level, preferably engineer degree
. General computer skills, MS . office
. Good negotiation skills and value based sales skills
. Good analytical and presentation skills
. A proven business developer, exceptional drive and a very dynamic personality.
. A proven Sales person within the packaging sector
. Independent, high level of personal involvement and energy, drive to make things happen. Also strong team player.
. Effective problem solver, critical, innovative and creative, decisive and result oriented, strong conceptual skills, ability to identify opportunity and transform into result.
. He/she can identify high added value projects.
. Good understanding of key Financial/economic indicators.
. Excellent communicator able to get on with individuals at different levels in and outside the organization?
. Representative, diplomat, skilled networker, good negotiator, ability to successfully develop and expand relationships, convincing and factual in argumentation, honest and loyal. Will give others the credits.
. Excellent organizational skills, ability to develop long term regional vision and create short term action.
. Target oriented thinking and acting.
. Time management and sense of prioritization.
. Basic technical knowledge and willingness to explore product processing
. Customer and service orientation
. Willingness to travel.
