Responsibilities:

Report to the China Finance Manager of the shared services function in Shanghai
Hands on daily & monthly accounting routine work for the branch offices in south China region
Deal with the local tax authorities & auditing professionals
Assist on month end closing reporting package to Regional office
Establish essential accounting environment and prepare to grow the local finance team in south China region
Requirements

University graduate in Accountancy or Finance disciplines
At least 5 years experience in accounting profession, experience in MNC environment preferred
Experience to deal with local government and tax authorities as well as international audit firm
Must be able to communicate in English writing, verbal English & Cantonese is a definite advantage
Need to meet tight month end closing deadlines
Basic understanding on the requirements of international accounting standard
Independent, organized, careful & good in communication
Expectation

The role will assist to start the south China finance operation to grow along with the business operation
Exposure to international accounting environment within an US multinational group
Assist to establish the local control environment meeting the international standards
