Responsibilities:
1. Identifying the needs in terms of process and goals of compliance for a new product, from function to aesthetics. Coordinating with R&D department, mould department and production department and evaluate potential costs.
2. Working with Mold workshop and production departments to create a design sample and final product.
3. Overseeing the approval, tracking, timing and priority the fabricated models or samples.
4. Approving the sample to the design specifications. Also, as part of the approval process, developing and implementing optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
5. Recommending and implementing improvements to production processes, methods and controls.
6. Coordinating and communicating expectations for the manufacturing launch for the new or revised products with production department.
7. Overseeing all products related testing (safety, performance, environmental, temperature, functionality, and durability, etc.).
8. Delivering specifications and procedures to Quality department and production department to begin mass production.
Requirements:
1. College or above graduated with major in Mechanical, Design, Material or related disciplines (Candidates with long experience besides the specified background will be considered).
2. 5 years or above experience in project management, experience in powder Dry press technology projects is preferable (Ceramic or powder Metallurgy previous knowledge is preferable).
3. Being familiar with manufacturing environment and mold manufacturing (advanced ceramics processes is a plus).
4. Good coordination, communication, negotiation and change management skills.
5. Being cautious, detailed, proactive and strong responsible sense and good team player.
6. Good command of oral, written, reading English.
7. Basic Knowledge of Design Software (CAD, SolidWorks), full command of Microsoft tools and project management software is a plus. Good understanding of design standards and rules.
8. Six sigma, 5S, Lean production knowledges are required to perform.
