To cope with our rapid expansion, Monarch International Ltd is looking for experienced and energetic candidate to join our team in SUZHOU Office.
Apparel R & D Designer
Job Description:
? Work closely with overseas buyers, merchandising team and with suppliers.
? Sourcing of materials from trims to fabric and work with supplier and merchandising team to get the product right.
? Work independently, creative and good team player
? Participate in ad-hoc assignments.
? Awareness of current fashion trends
? Access to fashion web portals like WGSN, STYLE SIGHT etc would be an added advantage
? Need to do seasonal presentation to buyers including mood board, trim card, fabric board etc
? Create, maintain and update fabric libraries, sample collection in office
Requirements:
· University or Diploma graduate in Fashion & Clothing design or related disciplines
· At least 4-6 years working experience in R&D , in Ladies/Men’s woven and knit garments
· Solid experience in design software (Illustrator ,Photoshop,Flash,Coral Drew )
· Be creative in fashion design experience for all garment
· Good presentation, communication and negotiation skills
· Well organized, pleasant, independent, proactive, and responsible
· Willing to work under high pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
· Fluency in spoken English, Putonghua
· Willing to travel to factories.
· Immediate availability is preferred.
· During interview, need to bring in the portfolios of recently done work
