职位描述
Our client is a western multinational FMCG operating multiple offices in China and Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a Senior Retail Manager - China based in Guangzhou, China where their headquarters is for the Greater China region.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Marketing Activation Manager will be responsible for all Marketing activities for China dairy and grocery category in both retail and food service channel. The brands cover Fresh UHT milk, spreads, flour and cake mix mostly in retail channel, and professional whipping cream, cream cheese and butter mostly in food service channel. The Marketing Activation Manager will be required to develop localized marketing strategy including brand position, portfolio, price, package, activation, promotion ...in line with Category team direction to build brands equity in the market. He/she will also develop executable activation plan to customers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Financial Results
§ Develop and manage Direct Marketing Expenditure to budget
§ Develop and manage Marketing expenses to budget
§ Deliver on overall China Dairy and grocery budget results
§ Drive Top Line growth through NPD and deliver on cost savings through planned initiatives.
2. Strategic Positioning
§ Work in conjunction with Senior Business Development Manager, Asia Marketing Manager, Category Manager and China Retail Manager to develop China category and brand plans for execution.
§ Strengthen overriding business strategic plans by developing and executing activation plans with appreciate process and good communication.
§ Investigate and deliver new product/category opportunities that will deliver incremental sales opportunities and enhance overall product portfolios.
§ Implement systems and processes to effectively communicate to target markets and measure marketing ROI.
3. Customer Management
§ Ensure integration of marketing and business plans in China market.
§ Provide ongoing support to Sales/Customers to deliver on customer specific requirements.
§ Manage external relationships with creative agencies, media and sponsored associations.
4. New Product Development
§ Active involvement with Innovation group to deliver on planned NPD projects.
§ Actively pursue innovative ideas for ongoing development of NPD and pipeline development.

Proven experience in managing multiple projects, with strong team leadership skills;
Proven experience and success in new product development;
Desirable:
Experience in working in field sales or trade marketing function;
Previous work in food categories would be looked upon favourably;
Experience in managing direct report(s).
