POSITION DESCRIPTION
Location: Schenker China Ltd. Qingdao Branch
Job Title: Financial Manager – Schenker North China Qingdao Branch
Reporting to:
Manager: Region North GM; Head of Finance – North China; Branch Manager of Qingdao;
Subordinates
Direct: Qingdao Finance Staff
Travel: Seldom
Position Overview:
1. Lead Schenker Qingdao accounting team in accounting and controlling functions.
2. Send accounting and controlling report to BJ and local management in time.
3. Support on daily management.
4. Control of internal / external audit and accounting reviews.
Key Outcomes (KPI):
1. Support Qingdao & Shandong team achieve Budget.
2. Control of outstanding and DSO, target 45 days.
3. Control of unbook vouchers, achieve the unbook objective in Qingdao.
4. Lead Qingdao accounting team to execute accounting and controlling regulations from Schenker Head office and local authorities.
Position Accountabilities:
1.Review monthly consolidated balance sheet and profit and loss account.
2.Lead budget, forecast, business plans, variance analysis and ad hoc analytical reports.
3.Ensure compliance with Group policies and accounting standards.
4.Handle questions from departments relating to the departmental result.
5.Review and implement accounting policies and procedures over financial and business operations.
6.Ensure timely financial and statistical reporting.
7.Supervise financial data and reports:-
?P & L report
?Analysis report
?Accounts receivable
?Accounts payable
?Unbook
?Cost Control
?Credit control
8.Set up and maintain regional/ branch/ department accounting and reporting system including the review of internal allocation procedures and the determination of allocation keys.
9.Monitor the operational system for accuracy and completeness:
10.Ensure compliance with local tax regulations for tax reporting.
11.Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations for maintenance of company secretarial records and filing of statutory returns.
12.Handle projects related to accounting and finance.
13.Liaise with banks on banking and treasury matters.
14.Liaise with auditors on both internal and external audit.
15.Approval of various expenses in line with the pre-determined authorization limit.
16.Interview new staff in accounting department.

1. College degree or above
