Manufacturing & Supply

To deliver our products efficiently and reliably, Oronite operates seven manufacturing sites around the world. These include one world-class facility in each of our operating regions and four smaller scale plants. All manufacturing sites are fully ISO Quality certified and operate in strict accordance with the Responsible Care guidelines of the American Chemistry Council.

Products

Oronite manufactures hundreds of additive packages for all types of diesel, gasoline and natural gas engines as well as additives for gear oils and hydraulic fluids. It is the worldwide market leader in a number of areas, including Marine, Railroad and Natural Gas Engine Oils and Tractor Hydraulic Fluids. Components and chemicals are also part of the Oronite product slate.


OEM Liaison - HDEO (Heavy Duty Engine Oil)

Job Responsibilities:

-Updates and executes the China Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) strategy which is integrated with Oronite’s global OEM strategy
-Establishes & maintains direct and strong OEM relationship and engagement in China, understand OEM factory fill and service fill requirements and their approval processes, short/long term technical requirements on oils, updates OEMs profile and issue contact reports
-Explores and creates OEM related business and product opportunities, maintain effective communication with sales team
-Recommends Oronite’s products and technology to OEMs, provides technical advice, provides proper test oil to OEMs, supports OEMs' oil evaluation tests based on Oronite technology which include: bench tests, engine tests, field tests and etc.
-Prioritizes and reports the organizational support needs, leads and executes OEM projects with internal support
-Constantly stays abreast of industry trends and the direction that the OEMs are taking by actively collecting industry and OEM information by all means. Maintains and updates China Heavy Duty Motor Oil (HDMO) & OEM trends for internal and external communications.
-Attends internal local, regional and global OEM team meetings; Attends external events (such as OEM related trade shows or technical conferences) in representative of Oronite
-Supports Oronite Automotive Engine Oil (AEO) products and technology activities in China together with other team members

 Job Requirements:

-BS/MS/PhD in Chemical, Mechanical, Agricultural or Materials Engineering
-Multi-lingual, fluent in Mandarin and English
-Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work with different cultures and internal/external contacts
-Familiar with internal combustion engines
-Motivated learner and strategic thinker
-3+ years of automotive OEM experiences involving engine oil applications or 3+ years of engine oil product experiences with OEM applications and interactions
-General lubricants, lubrication and tribology background would be a plus
-Computer literacy including MS software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), database management
